Lt. Gen. James Mugira, visits Luwero Industries in Nakasongola District

On July 15, 2025, Lt. Gen. James Mugira, Managing Director of the National Enterprise Corporation (NEC), paid a visit to Luwero Industries in Nakasongola District and inspected the newly tarmacked road,  modern senior officers’ mess, Carpentry and Veba Workshops (machine making machines worksop) respectively.

 During his inspection, Gen. Mugira was impressed by the newly tarmacked road constructed by Luwero Industries, a testament to the company’s commitment to infrastructure development. He also had the opportunity to tour a modern senior officers’ mess, designed to enhance the living standards of Luwero Industries staff.

Upon arrival, Gen. Mugira was warmly received by Maj. Gen. Sabiiti Muzeyi, General Manager of Luwero Industries Ltd., who accompanied him on the inspection tour. Gen. Mugira expressed his satisfaction with the exponential growth and development at Luwero Industries, extending his congratulations to the leadership and staff for their outstanding achievements.

The inspection was attended by senior officers from LIL.
