“NEC Showcases Innovative Solutions at Kigali Security Conference”

The National Enterprise Corporation (NEC), alongside its Subsidiaries and Joint Ventures, is proudly showcasing its products and services at the International Security Conference on Africa in Kigali, Rwanda The conference, themed “Reshaping Africa’s Landscape in a Dynamic, Complex Global Environment,” is taking place from May 19th to 21st, 2025.

H.E. President Paul Kagame of Rwanda officially opened the conference, emphasizing that Africa’s future, particularly in peace and security, can not be outsourced. He stressed that Africa must participate as a credible and capable partner, highlighting three critical factors for success.

Sovereignty entails taking responsibility for our states and collectively as a continent, not just defending borders. A weakness in governance compromises security, and vice versa, underscoring the importance of strong frameworks. Additionally, no country can secure itself in isolation, making cooperation essential for achieving peace and security.

President Kagame concluded by urging leaders to not only be informed but to be resolute in doing more and better.

NEC’s products and services are generating significant interest among delegates, who are impressed by the organization’s capacity-building initiatives across various sectors to achieve self-sustainability.
