Gabon National Minister of Defence Visits Luwero Industries, Discusses Defence Cooperation.
Maj Gen Sabiiti Muzeyi, General Manager of Luwero Industries Limited, hosted the National Minister of Defence for Gabon, Hon. Brigitte Onkonowa, at the company’s headquarters in Nakasongola.
Luwero Industries is a subsidiary of the National Enterprise Corporation (NEC).
The Minister was accompanied by Brig Gen Tsamba Moubeyi Paul, Deputy General Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, and other senior Gabonese officers. The delegation was led by Uganda’s Consul to Gabon, Hon. Destiny Muhooza.
Maj Gen Muzeyi briefed the delegation on the operations and activities of Luwero Industries, outlining its mandate in defence production and its role in supporting Uganda’s industrial and security sectors.
Maj Gen Muzeyi and Hon. Onkonowa discussed areas of collaboration and cooperation between Gabon and Uganda, with focus on defence-related industry and technology.
The visit is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral ties between Uganda and Gabon in defence, security, and industrial development.
