Lt Gen James Mugira presided over the handover/takeover of the Office of the General Manager at NEC Farm Katonga.

On 12th January 2022, the Managing Director-National Enterprise Corporation(NEC); Lt Gen James Mugira presided over the handover/takeover of the Office of the General Manager at NEC Farm Katonga in Gomba District.

Col Wycliff Keita who has been the General Manager for NEC Farm katonga is going for a course at National Defence College Uganda in Buikwe District. He handed over to Col (rtd) John Kagwisa.

Gen Mugira congratulated Col Wycliff Keita upon being identified, nominated leave alone keeping on the list to attend the highest course in the army.

Gen Mugira applauded Col Keita for the excellent work and service rendered to the Farm for the last three years he has been a General Manager.

Gen Mugira wished him good luck and success in his studies.

On the handover/takeover, Gen Mugira observed that it has now become a culture in the army as this is a form of accountability for what you have accomplished, challenges faced and the way forward.

Gen Mugira called on the incoming General Manager Col John Kagwisa to run the Farm professionally.
