Permanent Secretary Ministry of Finance and Economic Development; Mr. Ramathan Ggoobi visited Kiira Motors Corporation
On 23rd October 2021, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Finance and Economic Development; Mr. Ramathan Ggoobi visited Kiira Motors Corporation factory under construction in Jinja Industrial and Business Park by NEC Construction Works and Engineering Ltd, a subsidiary of National Enterprise Corporation ( NEC). NEC is the commercial arm of Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs/UPDF.
The Permanent Secretary appreciated the commendable job done by NEC in pioneering the construction of Uganda’s first vehicle plant.
He also thanked Kiira Motors Corporation Management for championing the manufacture of vehicles in the country and pledged his support to the Project.
He was received by the Chairman Board of Directors; Kiira Motors Corporation Prof Sandy Stevens Tickodri Togboa who informed him about the progress of the Project.
Present were Eng Paul Isaac Musasizi, the Chief Executive Officer-Kiira Motors Corporation, Eng Brian Buhanda- General Manager-NEC construction Works and Engineering Ltd among others.
