The Vice President of NORINCO and Chairman of China Wan Bao Corporation Mr. Lan Jie paid a courtesy call to Lt Gen James Mugira.

Yesterday, September 16, 2024, the Vice President of NORINCO and Chairman of China Wan Bao Corporation Mr. Lan Jie paid a courtesy call to Lt Gen James Mugira, NEC’s Managing Director, at his Bugolobi office in Kampala.

Mr Lan Jie was accompanied by among others, Mr. Gao Yunjian, General Manager Kyoga Dynamics Ltd, a Joint Venture venture between Luwero Industries,a subsidiary of NEC and China Wan Bao Corporation.

The meeting highlighted the growing partnership between NEC and NORINCO,  fostering cooperation and innovation in Uganda’s defence and security sector.

The two senior leaders discussed plans to strengthen existing collaboration and cooperation while exploring new projects for partnership.

In attendance was Maj Gen Sabiiti Muzeyi, General Manager of Luwero Industries.
