Lt Gen James Mugira Hosts Kenya National Defence College Delegation. 

LT GEN JAMES MUGIRA HOSTS KENYA NATIONAL DEFENCE COLLEGE DELEGATION.

The Managing Director,  National Enterprise Corporation(NEC) Lt Gen James Mugira has today 9th December ,2020 received a visiting delegation of the Faculty members and Course participants of Kenya National Defence College at NEC Headquarters in Bugolobi.

The delegation led by the College Commandant Lt Gen A.K Mulata is on a study visit to Uganda whose aim is to broadly examine, from a strategic perspective,  the prospects of National Security, stability and prosperity in the prevailing regional environment and includes participants from Kenya, Burundi and Tanzania.

Lt Gen James Mugira briefed the visiting delegation about the activities of NEC, the commercial arm of Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs/UPDF and its role in socio-economic development of Uganda.

On his part, Lt Gen A.K Mulata thanked the NEC Managing Director for the comprehensive brief and appreciated the strategic role played  by NEC in National Security and and socio-economic development.

The briefing session was attended by the senior leadership of NEC including the Deputy Managing Director Hon Maj Gen Innocent Oula himself an alumnus of the Kenya National Defence College.
