Maj Gen Leopold Kyanda Chair’s a Board Meeting at  NEC Uzima Factory.

Today 20th September 2023, Maj Gen Leopold Kyanda, the Joint Chief of Staff (JCOS)-Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) also the Chair of  NEC Uzima Sub Board visited and chaired a board meeting at  NEC Uzima Factory in Kakiri-Wakiso District.

Gen Kyanda was received by Maj Gen (Rtd) Innocent Oula, the Deputy  Managing Director -NEC and thanked him for his support to NEC Uzima in particular and NEC in general.

Gen Kyanda thanked NEC Uzima Management for a good job and informed the meeting that people have a strong liking for Uzima Natural Mineral Water and asked the management to increase their distribution to cover major supermarkets.

JCOS pledged support on behalf of MoDVA/UPDF.

Maj Edgar Ankwasa, General Manager, of NEC Uzima Ltd, presented a report on the operations and financial performance of the company and thanked the MoDVA/UPDF for the reliable UPDF market and budget support.

Present was the NEC Board Secretary Mr Mukombozi Daniel among other NEC Uzima Senior Members.
