Tanzanian Minister of Defence and National Service Hon Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax visits Luwero Defence Industries in Nakasongola.

On  7th May  2022, the Tanzanian Minister of Defence and National Service Hon Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax was accompanied by Hon Jacob Oboth Oboth; the Minister of State of Defence and Veteran Affairs of Uganda visited Luwero Defence Industries in Nakasongola, a subsidiary of National Enterprise Corporation (NEC) which is the commercial arm of Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs.

 Hon Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax was  received by the General Manager Luwero Industries Maj Gen Sabiti Muzeyi who briefed him on the products and production capacity of different manufacturing and production facilities under Luwero Industries and later taken on a guided tour.

Hon Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax and her delegation were impressed by the innovations of  the Uganda Defence Forces towards self reliance.

Hon Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax and Gen Sabiiti discussed areas of cooperation and collaboration.

Hon Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax was  accompanied by senior government officials.
